I can't help that I need it all

Fiona: I beg to differ, on several different accounts but perfect. I can't wait.

Fiona: That's the spirit. I'll be nice and let you pick out a few of the movies but please refrain from any boring documentaries. That's all I ask.

Fiona: Okay then. I'm sure we will. I have lots planned for us so it's a good thing you're practically an owl.

Fiona: I'm not trying to make excuses for him but I know Bobby better than you do. He just really wants to protect me and help. Well, that is true though. He won't have to be preoccupied and he can enjoy his trip. I am alright, okay? I know you don't and I can see I'll never be able to change your mind but that's okay.

Fiona: He doesn't mean to and it's not all the time. People second guess themselves, that's nothing new. He may have a rough exterior at times but he's also very sweet and charming too. That's not true. I didn't invite you over just because he'll be out of town. I think any girlfriend would wonder what her boyfriend would say in a case like this but like I said, there's nothing to worry about with us so it's totally fine.

Fiona: It's not obsessing. I'm glad you think so. I've been feeling out of my element at times so that's nice to hear. But he's my boyfriend so his feelings count for a lot. I'm not a leash at all.

Fiona: What else would I call it? He's an involved partner. He likes knowing what I'm up to and how I am. This is my first relationship. There's a lot I need to learn about making someone else happy, you know?

Fiona: It's out of concern more often than not. Even if he doesn't have to worry, he does because he cares about me. But sometimes, I don't know. It sounds awful when you say it like that. Again, he's only trying to help. If there's something that needs improvement, he'll speak up about it.

Fiona: Maybe but he has good intentions...most of the time. I know, I know. I just think it's going to be so much easier this way, with him miles away instead of lingering in the city.

Fiona: You'd be correct about that. He has a habit of weaseling his way into practically anything. But this isn't a big deal. You're right, I shouldn't have to. I'm not up to anything bad here. I'm just having a friend over, same as I would with anyone else I'm close too. And besides, he'll be out of town for break anyway. I should have company if I feel like it.

Fiona: In case you haven't realized, I'm up at this hour with you so we can pass the time chatting in person just as we are now. If I need to keep up, I'll sip cappuccinos to stay alert until you finally doze off. You always underestimate my abilities, Elijah. I figured. Bobby has nothing to do with this. And it's not that I'm being sneaky or anything but I don't see why I'd need to tell him. Do you think I should though? Yeah, maybe I'd have to.

Fiona: You're lucky she's not. I believe you need to do a thorough background check on all your employees; let this be a lesson to you. I'm not even surprised to hear that. You aren't exactly a social butterfly but not to worry. I'm going to break you out of your shell. What is it?

Fiona: Then clearly she's out of her mind. If I were her, I'd cash in as much as I possibly could. I think you've got her brainwashed. Right, well. We're just friends and friends have sleepovers all the time. It's not like anything would happen. We've got break coming up and I really want to make the most of it.

Fiona: A real doll. Are you paying her enough to be your lackey? I should hope so. Yeah, I do. Of course it is. Why wouldn't it be?

Fiona: Oh? So Eli's suddenly gotten all fancy, huh? Sure, you can leave a message for me. Tell him that if he can find time in his busy schedule to pencil me in, I'd like to invite him for a sleepover at my place. Thanks.

Fiona: I'm going to skip the whole are you awake thing because you never sleep at normal hours so hello, hello.
