genderbending is an often transphobic excuse to make same sex pairings het anyway so shrug emoji
or i ship gay characters with other gay characters?? i ship specifically what i ship for chemistry, dynamic, and gender…
*facepalm* you missed the point so hard. I wrote this because people were attacking shippers (specifically friends of mine) over the gender of the characters that they shipped, when people usually ship things for the dynamic and would still enjoy that dynamic even if the characters were genderbent.
But I mean over 6,000 people agree with me so whatever.
ah yeah clearly i know the context of ur 6k note post. clearly. i know everything there is to know about ur blog. i obviously know your every thought and opinion the moment i see your post.
i think maybe the people who reblogged it had intentions other than u did. be careful with how u word things: it matters. your intent is literally completely unclear in this and its tiring to see you react so strongly when i was like. confused and displeased at most. calm down buddy.
you say i missed the point...the point that wasn’t in your post. honestly i couldn’t write comedy better than this.

“Have you ever even done this before?”
Mowgli let out a small laugh, hoping it was convincing. “I’ve definitely driven before.” Not in the past years, though. Several years, several decades, what was the difference.
He paused at the controls of the vehicle. He hadn’t driven this monster truck with that huge bed, though. He considered asking if Fabletown had anything better to get someone from point A to point B.
“You’re buckled up, right?”
pureasdriven:
“I hardly think we have room in the budget for a promotion.” She was serious for a moment. “However, I know Fly was happy to get out of the task of driving up here. Maybe you can work something out with him. The trip to the Farm was fairly easy, with the enchantments keeping the traffic light the closer they got. “Are you going up there for business or pleasure?” It was always business for Snow to go up there, of course, but she knew not all Fables were married to their jobs.
He laughed. “Don’t worry, I was joking. I have no desire to set down permanent roots here or anywhere, let alone to do it for a chauffeur position.” His apartment in Fabletown had been bought in 1931, and he was pretty sure his neighbors thought a ghost haunted it.
“Pleasure,” he said. “Of a sort. I haven’t seen some of my friends in a long time, and I try to relieve them of the boredom of their confines from time to time. We can’t all travel the world, after all.”
Balo smiled, a little hope was better than none. She couldn’t imagine how awful life could be without hope. “Hope can be important to cling to, even if you only have a little bit of it.” She told him.
“Thank you, I appreciate it.” She probably wouldn’t take him up on the offer right away - but she’d keep it in mind. Perhaps it would help at some point, having an outsider’s opinion on everything. She just didn’t think talking about it now was a good idea - she barely knew him, after all.
“I understand,” he said, because he did, he knew what it was like to go through the Games and not have anyone to talk to about it, but not really knowing what he’d say if he did, and it not mattering because there was no one to trust.
He wasn’t sure what to say now. “I should be going,” he said, because at some point others began to start tiring of him, and he didn’t want to overstay his welcome.
“Yeah, well, do yourself a favor. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll leave me the fuck alone. Ok?” Boy Gren sure was a delightful person to talk to, wasn’t he? “Also stop ordering what I’m drinkin’. It’s fuckin’ weird.”
“That just makes me want to order what you’re drinking more, just to see what’ll happen,” he said calmly, tone unchanged. His smile was still intact as well. “I don’t like being threatened just for sitting at a bar.”

That was not as reassuring as he hoped. When he eased the truck into gear with nary a sickening grind or heart stopping clunk to be heard, Snow smiled herself, leaning back to look over the stack of letters she pulled from her bag once they were on the way. “You’re not a chauffeur,” Snow looked at him sideways, “That would imply I was going to pay you for driving me up there.” She smirked slightly. “Besides, I don’t think that’s in your job description. “
“Maybe I should get a promotion then, huh?” he said, snorting in amusement. “We’ll add it to my job description. Tourist and Chauffeur Mowgli, at your service. It’ll be a hit.”
Now that he was on the road he felt far more comfortable with his driving, and he settled back into the seat happily, confident in his ability to get them from point A to point B.

“You don’t have hope? Not even a teeny tiny bit of it?” She questioned, confused by the fact. How could one live without even a tiny bit of hope? She could understand the vitamins - that was understandable, but the hope was a little puzzling.
She nodded, “I sometimes get into periods of time where the negative thoughts become too loud and I listen to them. I try not to though, it’s better for me, looking at the positives. Even the small ones.” She admitted. “Ivan sometimes has to talk me through those periods, my games in particular can be a sore subject for me. I’m trying to work on making it a little less… painful. Some days discussing it isn’t too bad, some days? It hurts, a lot.”
“Well, maybe a little,” he said, mostly because she looked concerned. He didn’t know how to describe the horrors of his life past the Games, the way he had paid for everything that he had inflicted in the arena, so he lied instead.
“I’m glad you have your brother here. He seems like a good help. I know the feeling...if you ever want to talk about your Games, or, er, anything at all...” He trailed off, feeling foolish. She didn’t want to talk to him, he was sure, and he couldn’t blame her.
“Might as well fill the time somewhat productively...”
“I… have been, I guess,” Peeta said. As soon as he said it, he frowned. “No, that’s stupid. Of course I’ve been enjoying being able to relax, not fighting for my life or sleeping with one eye open. Of course,” he said, more to convince himself than anything. “I guess I sort of… want to be -doing- something, though. You know? Being useful. At least in the Games I had a goal… keep Katniss alive. Now I feel sort of… adrift.”
“I can understand what,” he said. “Going from the games directly into this more peaceful life...it must be incredible jarring. Feeling adrift makes sense. Does the District not have...people to talk to about this? I have heard President Coin say that if we have any problems with our past, then we should seek help.”
Winnie the Pooh by Rob Christiaans
Gren huffed, rolling his eyes again. “No, you’re just in my line of vision.” Which…realistically speaking was Gren’s own fault for constantly glancing over. Regardless, now that the ice was unfortunately broken, he could finally ask the one question on his mind. “Who the fuck are you anyway?”
Mowgli snorted at the reply but didn’t bother to challenge it, no matter how untrue it was. He moved onto the question the angry man next to him had finally put to words. “I’m Mowgli. Resident of Fabletown, even if it’s been quite a while since I was last here.”

“Might as well fill the time somewhat productively...”
Peeta’s smile downgraded a little, turning into something more sad. -Sentiment.- That’s really all it was, right now–just words. He’d seek to change that and back up his sentiment with actions soon.
“What all were you told when you were brought here?” Peeta asked, curious. “I mean, I’m wondering if you were told more than we were. This place is so full of knowledge and information, but I’m not sure how to go about even beginning to scratch the surface. I get the feeling they’re letting us relax and get accustomed to being here, first. What do you think?”
“I agree with you, but I’m sorry to tell you that I don’t know much more than you,” he said. “I may be a bit older, but that hasn’t granted me much but a bit of awkwardness with the other tributes and victors. I get the same feeling, though, of being allowed to relax.” He didn’t say what he was thinking, that he might be stuck here while the rest of them were whisked off to fight the war. The thought was depressing.
“Have you been enjoying the relaxing, at least?”
“Well, thank you.” She’d have to repay his kindness, probably with a painting or something made with the art supplies he was going to try to obtain. If he couldn’t obtain them? Well, she’d have to get her hands on a pencil and paper and draw him something. “That’s a pretty nice talent, it must be nice, spending time with the horses. I liked the ones in the Capitol.” She smiled, “They wouldn’t do well underground, so, I don’t think the District keeps them. They don’t seem very big on keeping animals around just for companionship. It’s probably best for the horses there are none here.”
Balo nodded, accepting his words, after all, Mowgli knew Snow better than she did. “You’re right, Snow has bigger concerns at the moment. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t give into the negative thinking. It hardly helps.”
“Yes, the less living creatures trapped underground, the better,” he said. “Very few animals are meant to live underground, people included. I don’t know how these District Thirteen people manage to live on careful allotments of vitamins and hope. Then again, I don’t have either.”
He paused, then smirked. “Looks like I’m giving into negative thinking too. Trust me, you don’t need to apologize for that, not to me. Most of my life is consumed with thoughts like that. You’re a nice break from negativity, I have to say.”
