Logan huffs a small chuckle at that, grumbling something that, to the untrained ear, may sound like a complaint - but it isn’t really. “As if y’needed any more spoilin’,” he dismisses the other, and huffs a second time. Again, none of it stems from actual annoyance.

Honestly, Logan has a hard time getting honestly annoyed at Remy and then staying that way for any longer than five seconds. It’s actually very worrying, but hey, as long as Remy’s here… that’s the most important thing.

“Yeah?” he asks, raising his brows at the other, inhaling the scent of Remy as the other comes closer, and wraps him into a hug. An exhale, and Logan wraps his arms around Remy’s midriff in turn, returning the hug with a squeeze of his own, hoping that Remy draws comfort from it.

“You’re welcome.”

What else is there to say?

The moment’s interrupted by Logan sniffing the air, audibly. “Potatoes are ready,” he says, and then the egg timer beeps. “Ready to eat, Gumbo?”

“Naw, I missed bein’ Gumbo,” he replies, his readiness to eat implied. Or, so he should hope. This guy proceeds to circle the other man like a cat during dinner time, after all. Which, to be fair, he kind of is. Only time he gets any proper food is when he’s with Logan. And, again - that hasn’t been happening a lot lately.

“We should take that t’ th’ next level. Y’can start callin’ me ‘Lil’Shrimp’ next.” Cue a sly smile. That is, before he gets too distracted stuffing his plate. Remy’s always liked to play games and taunt, but somehow, his facade often drops not only around his best friend, but around more carnal desires. Ugh, that sounds dirty - food. Food makes him honest.

Which, screw table manners, he figures as he sits down to chow down on his meal. Best compliment here is inhaling his dinner anyway, right? Right.
