"when does Yuji get these shoulder tattoos that you drew in some of your art?"

A:

The tatts are "earned" at different times in the story, but I'll map out each one for you.

REFER TO DIAGRAM BELOW FOR CONTEXT.

First is the face tattoos under the eye. They are earned during the inauguration arc. (6 arcs from chapter 6 in bastardized)

Second are the tattoos on the shoulders, earned during the runaway arc. (10 arcs away from chapter 6)

Third are the arm bands which are earned during the green blooded arc (12 arcs away from chapter 6)

Fourth is the nose tattoo. It is earned during TDOKR arc. I will not say what words the letters represent, because it's spoilers. 16 arcs away from chapter 6)

His piercings are a choice Yuji makes also during TDOKR arc, as an ode to Sukuna, a sign of his newfound leadership, and a way to shake up his life after all the horror.

Q:

"why does Yuji have 0.0000000001% survival instincts? 😭"

A:

He was raised sheltered in suburban area for most his life, not to mention he has almost a kind of arrogance about getting/being hurt. He used to get injured a lot as a kid so he's not scared of the potential of pain. He also has a morbid curiosity. As much as gangs, Yakuza, and potential cults scare him, they also interest him and drag curiosity from him. SO... he often goes head first into danger without thinking it through that much.

Q:

I was wondering if Sukuna has his signature face scaring or not but after looking at some of the art of yours I assume he doesn't. Will he get any later or no?"

A:

A lot of the art I made for bastardized is kind of outdated to the actual fic and how he looks. My original "no scars" thing came from the fact that he was so slick and powerful that the only scars he got came from his tattoos, which he chose to have. But I think that's stupid and unrealistic, so he has scars on his arms, hands, a small one across his nose, back, a few bullet wounds, ect. I have yet to draw an actual map out but I plan too.

Also, he DOES gain a nasty scar(s?) from Yuji at some point, I will not name when or what it comes from, but if I ever draw them again you should pay attention 🌚

Q:

"Will the streets corrupt Yuji's sunshine cutie sweetheart personality?"

A:

Yes. The streets will break him down and tear him apart until he is forced to change to survive the streets he's confined in. The core elements of him will still be there, but his progression will definitely end with him being like Modulo Yuji by the end of the au.

Q:

"Why did you spoil that Yuji would kill Sukuna at the end... WHY?? 😭😭😭"

A:

The art is more of a symbolic thing, also the AU and the art is venting my relationship with my father who I think really reminds me of Sukuna. I often felt like I had to somehow get away or even end up killing my dad just to be free from his abuse, even though I'd never do that. I put it into the art to cope.

Another reason, people would see the art and go "oh shit? How does this happen in this au? What leads up to it? Let me read this and find out..." Low-key marketing lmao.

Also, in canon Yuji kills Sukuna. It's a no brainer I explore that and how it might apply to my au.
