Can we talk about how in sync these two are?

Explaining to myself why we need to lock in today

I wonder if so many things made sense once Piper found out that Henry was Kid Danger. The years of her older brother always being exhausted, struggling in school even when she knows (but won’t admit) he’s smart, and him coming home injured or bruised sometimes, and she’d never had an explanation for those things until this episode. I wonder if it all made sense.

The way Henry immediately goes along with it, no hesitation, gets me every time

Henry: What, do you miss it?

This moment warms my heart, honestly. Ray understands that Henry must be feeling a lot of conflicting things right now, between the “death” of Kid Danger (who he’d been for years), him getting his new superpower, and the decision to move to Dystopia hanging over him. So when Ray makes Jasper give Henry space and stop bugging him (even though he was just being friendly), it made me smile. Ray cares deeply for Henry, and he noticed that Henry seemed a little overwhelmed by everything and made sure Henry wasn’t being pestered too much. Longer post, I know, but I just love this scene.
