told through the pov of a random guy who's spent the past 6 weeks rationing rain water and having lived through horrors beyond the visions of god. He fishes through an abandoned backpack to find a blood-splattered, torn invite to "the last stronghold left."

and he hobbles towards the cat sticker on the hand drawn map on the back that leads to Veludo Way. he's ready for a fortress of barbed wire and towering walls but there's just a little kid with a stack of flyers carefully clearing the streets of strewn limbs and skulls.

Sakuya looks up and his eyes shine with stars. "Oh! You must be here for the play!"

There's a sound behind him and the man sucks in a breath to warn—

And sakuya whirls on his heel and seizes the axe at his feet and chucks it as hard as it can. The thick blade sheathes itself through dry bone and rotten gristle. Sakuya turns around again, all smiles and customer service. He hands a flyer out.

"Audience members get free refuge at the warehouse left! Three meals a day and lodgings until our performance. Then you can either choose to leave with our company's goody bags or stay and help with the next production. I hope you enjoy! Any questions?"

the man shakes. "Is.... is..."
