i think what i also like about george is that he acknowledges he’s not perfect and he’s not the best on the grid. he’s stated that he knows he isn’t “the best driver on the grid” and that he “doesn’t have 4 world championships” but he still has a good mentality and works hard. to all the people who make fun of him for complaining 1: he’s driving a car at like 300 kmh, if something is wrong with the car i’d complain too. 2: all drivers do it, especially the world champions. YES in his early seasons he blamed stuff on others and has put the blame in questionable positions, but he’s grown and you can actually see a good work ethic and accountability from him. not only does he know the rules, but he knows his driving and performance capabilities.

there’s always been something slightly off about the way toto treats george

someone hits oscar with a curse that could kill him. he feels weak and cold and shaky, and nothing seems to be working to make that any better — except for lando. when lando touches him, the pain and exhaustion goes away. the longer lando touches him, the longer the effects seem to last. and it’s a race weekend, so what choice do they have but to sleep cuddled up together to make sure oscar can even get through the sessions in the car, powered seemingly only by lando’s somehow magically healing touch? but they can’t do this forever, and it seems to be getting worse and worse, with oscar needing to be touched more frequently, for longer and longer each time, and they really need to fix this before something awful happens. lando’s always wanted an excuse to touch, but not like this — not at the expense of oscar’s health…
