I’m sure he did threaten violence of some kind. Which people do when they’re frustrated. He didn’t follow through on it and there’s no past behaviour that we know about that would make George reasonably think he would. Grow up Georgie.

Funniest thing is iirc they asked Max about him telling George he was gonna put him in the wall and Max's response was basically "I didn't say it like that" 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I think the accepted line was “I’m gonna put you on your head” which technically alludes to a crash not the wall. It actually doesn’t even mean George will be in the car he might have meant I’ll punch you in the face. My client is innocent.

People were also making up that he called George a slur at some point 😭

Now I am sure Max said something to GR after that circus (and I don’t blame him because that whole thing was obnoxious) but I do love how GR fans just blindly believe anything he says even Crofty said GR was lying about Max swearing in the stewards office and that GR explicitly asked him to ask a question so he could recite his monologue.

Also it’s ON RECORD that GR has admitted to crashing inti people on purpose…..

I’m sure Max did say something. And he probably said what George said he said, because if he didn’t max would have come out and called George a liar. And Max would probably say it again.

And yeah it’s not really appropriate to speak like that in your workplace. That being said, George started that whole situation, and he fought his case in the stewards room with a bunch of people around protecting him from being accountable for his behaviour because that entire conversation was stupid to start with. And he lied about it afterwards as well. So if after all that extremely unprofessional behaviour Max said something aggressive and has stood on business ever since, never apologised, never said he didn’t say it, then that’s just what it is.

The guys outside the four top teams are harder to judge and often overlooked. That’s just how it is.

You can’t compare Arvid to Kimi. Positively OR negatively. It’s not fair and not possible to do accurately. You can’t even compare him to Isack.

You can compare him to Gabi probably but even then, the Audi is probably significantly worse.

To see people say his crash out is valid is wild considering they’re the same people who complained about Max’s crash outs. All drivers are allowed to crash out honestly especially with the season those two have had. You just can’t say one is and issue and the others not.

Also George started this season off saying how much he loved the car and the engine so I’m not surprised he’s getting his own words thrown back at him…. ESPECIALLY after his fans gave Max so much shit for calling out the regs.

I haven’t seen George getting any genuine hate.

The Borderline quote is something HE said. And it was inappropriate, nasty, and pathetic. It coming back to haunt him is called consequences. You say something stupid in front of a tv camera people will remember. Repeating the thing you said back to you is not hate. Especially when it’s used to parody your own aggressive behaviour. Yes the context is manipulated now but you manipulated the situation then. And if your entire public imagine is based on being seen as mr consistent and mr level headed and mr stiff upper lip then yes you will be held to the standard of never losing it a day in your life. You chose your narrative, live it or deal with what people will say about you.

Yeah I don’t think there’s an agenda (…..yet lol) but it just seems like the vibes were odd? Max seemed really down in his post like “I gave it everything” you would think he ended up P13 not P3

There was also zero recognition from the team about it being their 300th podium but you have the official F1 account posting it and even randomly the mexicogo account posting about Max’s 130th podium

F1 posted the 300 podium with RBR it’s on their feed.

I found the podium celebrations weird the other two times tbh I’m not surprised they scrapped them. Maybe they were doing them because they didn’t know when they would get another one but now it doesn’t seem so rare so they are going back to win celebrations only, which frankly I would consider the right direction (looking forwards).

I also wouldn’t be surprised if max didn’t mention it because it wasn’t a big deal within RBR. 300 podiums isn’t a record, and it’s a pretty random number. They probably wouldn’t have thought much of it were it not for F1 mentioning it.

Max did seem a bit disappointed with the third place which is interesting considering how bad he thought Belgium would be for the car.
