But when you reach the foot of the path, it’s dark. The road - if you could even call it that - is filled with everything that takes your light away. On your first journey through, you might console yourself with the knowledge that you’ve made it this far without losing much of that precious light. Beyond the terrors, there must be safety and reward, right? How could such a great, beautiful destination let you die right at its doorstep? And yet, it does. It isn’t the paradise it looks like from afar. In fact, it might as well be hell.

That harsh reality is gradually battered into you, rock after rock. The last of the hope leaves your body. Then, and only then, can you see heaven.

Decided to draw Forgetful Storyteller and Modest Dancer as this bc I cant stop thinking about them

For long time I thought that Modest is shortest in performance gang and today I decided to finally check their heights.. and I think that she's slightly taller than Stagehand by several centimetres 👀

so I imagined Stagehand being all grumpy over being shortest in theatre troupe XD
