Though I’d run 8 miles that morning, it was without complaint that I joined Joey and Andreanne a hike. Absolutely no amount of peer pressured was needed for me to lace back into my shoes and heading out into the wilderness for a 4-mile trek through the beautiful redwoods. Joey lent me his socks and learned I like In-N-Out. Andreanne listened to Hamilton the whole drive home and said it reminded her of Game of Thrones. That’s real-life history, I said. Wiled away a day in San Francisco. It was a breezy day and though I have lofty aspirations of living in New York City, my lips were turning blue in the 60 degree weather.
