Carlos set an alarm on his phone to remind himself he had a date later before he headed back to work. When it did go off he put his things away and left the lab, heading next door to the Big Ricoās Pizza.
Carlos opened the front door and looked around, wondering if heād be able to spot Cecil anywhere.
Cecil tiptoed his way to the restaurant just in time to see Carlos arriving and opening the door.

He got out of the cubicle and went to the mirror. Carlos thought for a bit before deciding on trying to pull one of those teenager-style selfies. He cocked his hips and gave the mirror his best smolder ā or his best exaggerated smolder at least ā before snapping the picture. He then sent it quickly to Cecil, double-checking of course the recipientās contact info.

Cecil fell on his not-butt when receiving the message. What a surprise! What a surprise!! It was weird, because it was somehow both very much like Carlos but also not at all. It was both swooning but silly because it was so over the top.

Carlos had taken a bathroom break toā¦ look at Cecilās messages. Not exactly professional, but neither was looking at them in front of other scientists. He cleared his throat softly and texted Cecil back.

Cecil was giddy when Carlos answered him back, even if he was at work! But science could wait for a little while, right? His show usually couldā¦ or they would just talk on air, the listeners are used o it already after all.

Carlos laughed out loud, and he winced a little at how it echoed in the bathroom.

Cecil was waiting, excited if Carlos would actually send him a picture or not. He walked around his phone, checking the screen every once in a while and supposedly doing something useful while waiting. No picture, though.
