Hello Anon, I'm going to preface this by saying that I've barely been able to read anything over the last year, so I can only rec older fics. I'm sure loads of great fics have been published recently but I haven't been able to read them yet. Anyway on to your ask....

There have been some really great fics written over the years that deal with Erwin and / or Levi coming to terms with their sexuality and begining to realise their feelings for one another. Here are a few of my favourites. They're not new, but I think they stand the test of time.

Levi isn’t this injured anywhere in this volume, or even the battle. and Isayama isn't the type of author to "clickbait" as such.

so Levi's injury appears to lie in his shoulder... as if he had wings... (“wings of freedom”!!) (“So your wings are the real thing after all, Levi.” -Erwin in ACWNR)

@i-heart-danchou​ posted a definitive series of Eruri doujinshi reviews a few years ago, which I can *highly* recommend.  You can find it on their blog tagged i heart doujin.

This is something that has always puzzled me too, because Erwin is not wealthy in canon.  Certainly he didn't experience the kind of grinding poverty and deprivation that Levi suffered, but there is no suggestion that his family was wealthy or privileged. In addition, we know that the Survey Corps’ funding is always under threat, which suggests that Erwin has no personal funds at his disposal to contribute to the Corps.
