“Aren’t you cold? I can go get you some blankets!”

“Are you alright? I thought I heard you talking in your sleep.”

“Don’t worry, you’re alright. It was just another nightmare.”

“I don’t want to get up!”-“You can’t make me go to bed!”

“Can you turn your music down? Some of us are trying to sleep!”

“That looks highly uncomfortable. How do you even sleep like that?!”

“I didn’t mean to wake you up…”

“Don’t you think it’s getting awful late?”

“Sweet dreams!”

“I didn’t get a wink of sleep last night.”

“You said some interesting things in your sleep last night.”

“Did you have another bad dream?”

“Come on, let’s just go to sleep.”

                         Sweat Effects+ Scent 

Katsuki’s Quirk allows him to secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from his palms and detonate it at will to create explosions. [ x ]

Nitroglycerin from whatever source has a bad habit of giving you a NASTY headache…. The vapor has a deceptively sweet odor and you could easily enjoy it unless you realized what it was…. [ x ]

Katsuki’s sweat, being it is made up in part of the explosive nitroglycerin, carries with it a scent akin to ‘burnt sugar’. This means, yes, when training or in combat, that sweet scent does tend to overpower the natural teen boy B.O. That being said, however, due to the chemical components that make up the sweat, extensive combat does leave him with a doozy of a headache. He is rather accustomed to this, and rarely even acknowledges the pounding pain after a fight wraps up - he’s lived with it his entire life, after all. 

Due to this, he does carry both pain medicine, and caffeine pills in his backpack / the pockets of his school blazer to help when things get rather bad. 

This also effects those that spend time around him - which means his friends who frequent his presence typically end up knowing about his stash of medicine one way or another. (Izuku also likely knows, being they’re life-long ‘friends’. You can’t avoid someone seeing that, especially when you have no shame). 

Outside of causing headaches, however, the scent / fumes of the explosive nitroglycerin (as opposed to medical grade) has proven to be minorly addictive, causing headaches and irritation during the withdrawals. 

Quite the ‘damned if you do, damned if you don’t’ situation, huh?
