Through being safe? No.
Through having a lot of good experiences making your life feel long. Yes.
GUILT (THIS MAY SAVE YOU)
Understand when theres nothing you can do about guilt (its sticky). Deciding to live wont get rid of it and deciding to commit suicide wont help decrease it. Its just best to move on in this case. Sticky guilt is when trying to get rid of it hurts (living) and trying not to get rid of it hurts (suicide which causes more guilt). Just move on.
Insight of the year..
Its not that you lack meaning its that you have a *second* meaning that you have forgotten about which conflicts with social norms/other meaning.
Example:
I want to be rich and throw party's but secretly want to be a Buddhist monk at the same time.
Try not to be to serious and try not to fail at being serious enough.
When deciding between two things make sure to check if there both equally as good/evil.

When you make a mistake its your job to make up for it, "wipe it clean", stop others from doing it, rather than give up.

Dont let your whys and hows for your actions turn into an infinite regress ( go on forever). This is a sure way to become nauseous. You have to stop at some level. Dont mix up causality with your own personal reasons for a behavior.
"I know all the various arts and crafts and sciences in the world dealing with writing, mathematics and symbols, physiology, rhetoric, physical and mental health, city planning, architecture and construction, mechanics and engineering, divination, agriculture and commerce, conduct and manners, good and bad actions, good and bad principles, what makes for felicity and what for misery, what is necessary for enlightenment, and behavior linking reason and action. I know all these sciences, and I also introduce them and teach them to people, and get people to study and practice them, to master and develop them, using these as means to purify, refine, and broaden people." Flower Ornament Scripture (Avatamsaka-sutra) "The Buddhas, most honored of two-legged beings, know that phenomena have no constantly fixed nature, that the seed of Buddhahood sprout through causation, and for this reason they preach the single vehicle. But that these phenomena are part of an abiding Law, that the characteristics of the world are constantly abiding-- this they have come to know in the place of practice and as leaders and teachers they preach expedient means. The presently existing Buddhas of the ten directions, whom heavenly and human beings make offerings to, who in number are like Ganges sands, they have appeared in the world in order to bring peace and comfort to living beings, and they too preach the Law in this way. They understand the foremost truth of tranquil extinction and therefore employ the power of expedient means, and though they point out various different paths, in truth they do so for the sake of the Buddha vehicle. They understand the actions of living beings, the thoughts that lie deep in their minds, the deeds they have carried out in the past, their desires, their nature, the power of their exertions, and whether their capacities are acute or dull, and so they employ various causes and conditions, similes, parables, and other words and phrases, adapting what expedient means are suitable to their preaching. Now I too am like this; in order to bring peace and comfort to living beings I employ various different doctrines to disseminate the Buddha way. Through the power of my wisdom I know the nature and desires of living beings and through expedient means I preach these doctrines, causing all living beings to attain joy and gladness." "All the Buddhas of the past expounded the teachings for the sake of sentient beings, using incalculable and innumerable skillful means and various explanations and illustrations. These teachings were all for the sake of the single Buddha-vehicle. All these sentient beings, hearing the Dharma from the Buddhas, finally attained omniscience…Having understood the various desires and deep-rooted inclinations of sentient beings, I teach the Dharma according to their capacities through the power of skillful means, using various explanations and illustrations. O Shariputra! I do this in order to make them attain the omniscience of the single Buddha-vehicle. O Shariputra! Since there is no second vehicle in the worlds of the ten directions, how could there be a third!" The Lotus Sūtra, Chapter Two

The spiritual benefactor Gopa said to Sudhana: “And just as I comprehend, know and realize the oceans of enlightening practices of Vairocana Buddha in this whole cosmos, so also do I comprehend, know, and realize the indivisible oceans of enlightening practice of all buddhas in all oceans of worlds throughout the cosmoses throughout all space. In this way I comprehend the entry into the indivisible totality of all bodhisattvas’ practices, entry into the infinite web of illusion, infinite cosmic pervasion, infinite instruction, and indication of entry into the bases of endless eons, of all buddhas in all oceans of worlds, throughout the cosmos, to the furthest reaches of space. Why? Because this is the scope of the enlightening liberation whose sphere is observation of the ocean of concentrations of all bodhisattvas; having attained this, I know the patterns of mental behavior of all beings, the accumulation of goodness of all beings, the means of purgation of defilements of all beings, the variety of deeds of all beings, the doors of concentration of all buddhas’ disciples, the tranquility, liberation, and mystic transformation of all individual illuminates, the methods of the oceans of concentrations of all bodhisattvas, the ocean of ways of liberation of all bodhisattvas, and the ocean of ways of liberation of all buddhas.”

1. Suffering exists 2. Suffering arises from uncontrolled perceptual standards and also conflicting ones. 3. Suffering ceases when perceptual standards come under control and don't conflict. 4. Freedom from suffering is possible by recontrolling perceptual standards and stopping them from conflicting.
