On her days off, Hyuna had two options; sleep at home, or relax in a bar. Relax may not be the best word to use by some people's standards, but there was a sense of calming, a sense of fulfillment Hyuna could feel only after a hunt--and the bar was the best place to find beasts to kill. Tonight, however, proved to be not as eventful as per usual. Normally, Hyuna would witness plenty of men harassing innocent women; it was a buffet line of prey.
After downing her third and final drink, Hyuna slid down from the bar stool, making her way to the exit, thigh-high black boots clicking with each step. The night was still young, however, and rather than turning left to head home, Hyuna hung a right, marching down the dim-lit street in hopes to find something to do.
The streets were even emptier than the bar--there wasn't a soul to be heard. No drunken laughter, no pleas for help, not even footsteps apart from her own. It was strange; a chill ran down Hyuna's spine. Heaving a sigh, Hyuna decided it'd be best to head home and go to sleep. That was until she heard the faintest of noise coming from the alleyway merely a couple steps ahead. She cursed her noisy footwear as she did her best to tip-toe toward the area, peeking from behind a wall.
She hadn't anticipated seeing him of all people, effortless murdering someone. That can't be...? The more she stared, however, the more she realised it couldn't be anyone but him. He'd grown since she'd last seen him, sure, but something else stuck out more.
They still retained their doe-like appearance, but there was something different; they were colder, emptier. Hyuna worried her lip between her teeth as he finally noticed her presence, trying to keep herself from shaking beneath his gaze as he approached. Instinctively, Hyuna reached under her dress, fingers curving around the handle of her knife just in case things turned sour. Maybe he'd recognise her, right?
"Hey, Kyungsoo," she said softly, lifting her free hand, palm toward the other. "Do you remember me?" She forced a smile. "You sure have changed."
