I really enjoyed the astrological readings and Iāve had several messages asking that we revisit and I think we can all agree, we need something fun to cleanse the timeline ahead of whatever tomorrow may bring.
Obvious statement being obvious - astrology is a hobby to me. Please take it with a fist of salt and enjoy it as something fun.
Soā¦. 8th March 1997 (presume Derby UK)
Ewan is a quadruple Pisces. Just sit with that for a second.
Because most people have one or two Pisces placements somewhere in their chart. Ewan looked at that and went āmore fish pleaseā. We donāt know his birth time and weāre not going to pretend we do because thatās how you end up on a watchlist. So no Rising sign today.
What we can see is Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus all in Pisces. FOUR.
For anyone who doesnāt know astrology, Pisces is the twelfth and final sign of the zodiac. Itās the dreamer. The feeler. The sign that seems to absorb a little bit of everybody else before wandering off to think about it for six months. Itās ruled by Neptune, planet of intuition, creativity, imagination and generally making things more complicated than they need to be emotionally.
This one isnāt remotely surprising. If someone told me that Ewan was a Capricorn I would have demanded paperwork because itās just so obvious heās a water sign.
Pisces Suns tend to be incredibly intuitive. They pick people up quickly. Sometimes a bit too quickly. Itās one of those placements where they can clock the mood of a room before anybody has actually said anything. Theyāre also usually creative because they need somewhere for all that internal crap to go. Thereās always been something quite elusive about him. You think youāve got him figured out and then he does an interview and somehow youāve learned absolutely nothing new about him. You walk away with more questions than you started with. Classic Pisces behaviour. Like trying to hold onto a fish. Slippery little fucker.
Theyāre also usually creative because frankly they need somewhere for all that to go. Which explains acting. A lot. Thereās so much happening underneath the surface that it needs an outlet. If youāve got an entire internal system going on at all times, pretending to be other people for a living is probably quite a healthy use of your time. Well done Mitchell. The Derby Land Rover factory was never for you.
This is actually quite interesting. Ewan was born just before an eclipse, which astrologers get very excited about because eclipses tend to represent major turning points and accelerated growth.
People born around eclipses often seem to live in chapters. Not dramatic chapters. Heās not kicking down doors and announcing his next life phase. More like one day everyone suddenly realises heās quietly become a completely different person while nobody was looking which honestly feels very on brand. He doesnāt seem particularly interested in announcing things. Things just quietly happen and by the time everyone notices, heās already onto the next thing.
Now this is where things get stupid. Your Moon sign is your emotional world. Itās how you process feelings, what makes you feel safe, how you react when nobodyās watching. And his is also Pisces. So emotionally this man basically has no skin. He feels everything. Atmospheres. Moods. Tension. Weird vibes. Someone being upset on the other side of the room. Heāll probably know before they do. Which sounds lovely until you remember he works in an industry full of stressed emotional dramatic people who are constantly creating, performing and living under pressure. Thatās a lot of information to absorb on a daily basis. People talk about emotional intelligence like itās a superpower, but there has to be a point where it becomes exhausting too.
Whatās interesting is heās mentioned that people seem to fall into two categories for him. Either thereās an instant connection or it takes him forever to warm up. That makes complete sense with this chart. Pisces Moons donāt really do neutral. The emotional vibe either feels right immediately or it doesnāt. Thereās not much logic involved. Itās not a conscious decision itās more like an internal alarm system. The atmosphere either feels safe and familiar or it doesnāt, and if it doesnāt, all the charm and small talk in the world isnāt going to speed the process up. Which is probably why people sometimes mistake Pisces placements for being aloof when actually theyāre just waiting for their nervous system to stop screaming at them.
The fact that his Moon sits so close to his Sun also makes this a New Moon birth, right before the eclipse.
Mercury rules communication and thought processes. His is also in Pisces.
Mercury in Pisces doesnāt think in straight lines. Itās all instinct, impressions, associations and feelings. Itās a mind that jumps from A to Z and somehow still arrives at the right answer.
Itās actually why some Pisces placements can come across as incredibly insightful one minute and completely elsewhere the next. You know those group interviews where Ewan occasionally looks like heās left his body and is communicating with a higher power? This chart is not helping his case. When Mercury in Pisces is interested, theyāre fully present. Warm. Curious. Engaged. They can talk for hours. When theyāre bored, theyāre gone. Not physically. Mentally. The lights are on but the Ewan has wandered off. Itās not rudeness so much as complete surrender to wherever their attention has decided to go. Good luck to the journalists.
Whatās interesting is that this placement contributes to that very binary way of connecting with people. Mercury in Pisces tends to find its wavelength quickly. Either the conversation clicks immediately or it doesnāt. Either the chemistry is there or it isnāt. Thereās barely any much middle ground.
And then we get to Venus. Also in Pisces. This is a medical condition at this stage.
Venus governs love and attraction and relationships and what we value. And Venus in Pisces is actually considered one of the strongest Venus placements in astrology. Itās whatās called exalted, meaning Venus is operating at full strength here.
This is somebody who doesnāt really do casual feelings. Venus in Pisces loves deeply, completely and with very little self-protection. Itās not transactional. Itās not practical. Itās not particularly interested in keeping score either. Love is experienced almost as a spiritual thing rather than an administrative one. Lovely. Potentially catastrophic.
Venus in Pisces doesnāt just see people as they are. It sees who they could be. Their potential. Their best qualities. Their good days. The version of them they might become if everything worked out perfectly. Which means these people often extend understanding long after everybody else has started backing away slowly. The lesson Venus in Pisces usually has to learn is that seeing the best in somebody is not the same thing as getting the best from somebody. Somebodyās potential is not their personality. Somebodyās intentions are not their behaviour. Unfortunately that lesson tends to be learned through experience. Repeatedly. THIS IS HIGHLY RELEVANT THIS WEEK š
Combined with the Pisces Moon, the emotional landscape here is genuinely enormous. There is so much feeling in this chart. He romanticises the best in everything and everyone which isnāt always healthy and is how he can get hurt.
Finally a different sign!
Mars governs ambition drive and how somebody goes after what they want. His Mars is in Libra and retrograde, which is fascinating because it explains why he doesnāt come across as ambitious in the way people expect ambitious people to look.
Thereās no loud self-promotion here. No grand declarations. No constant reminders of what heās doing. He doesnāt seem particularly interested in announcing plans. He just quietly gets on with things and then suddenly appears in another major project while everybody else is still trying to work out what happened. The retrograde makes that even more pronounced. The energy turns inward. He doesnāt need external validation to keep moving. He has his own timeline and appears perfectly happy operating on it.
Which honestly makes sense with the stories people tell about him. He was the iceberg by his friends. Roles would appear and the fandom didnāt even know he was attached to them until filming was underway. He didnāt tell his friends he was auditioning for roles. Weāre still finding out about projects when theyāre announced rather than six months beforehand. Heās patient without being passive and ambitious without making a massive song and dance about it.
No confirmed birth time means no confirmed Rising sign. End of discussion.
Whatever his Rising sign is, given everything else happening in this chart, it has got an absolutely monumental job on its hands. Four Pisces placements, an eclipse birth, all that emotional depth and intuition sloshing around underneath.
So what have we learned? Weāve learned that Ewan is essentially four Pisces stacked on top of each other wearing a coat.
Sun in Pisces. Moon in Pisces. Mercury in Pisces. Venus in Pisces.
A chart thatās all feeling all instinct all intuition and all emotional depth, with a very quiet and very patient Mars in Libra underneath doing the heavy lifting. Heās basically just a boy with all his feelings. An alarming amount of feelings.
