not sure how well this one will go over, because. well. everyone likes to forget how dark and tragic will's most formative years actually were! and this "implied" theme/story is by far the darkest thing about the show. but i'm really proud of how this one turned out—the shift of Will asking (begging) to know if who he's become makes the people he loves sick, leaning into everything he hates to save them, hoping they don't see him as a monster...hoping that he's at least done damage to Vecna, because now, he really won't ever get that part of himself back.
every time i hear this song i just start levitating. need to inject it directly in my bloodstream. lowkey this is one of my hardest edits/took the longest GOD it was so finicky. and i still vividly remember doing the entire thing on vacation just like. possessed by the vision (haha get it. sorry...)
