so, i can't believe gally won't be in mtl next season. he and carey were the two guys who made me fall in love with this team to begin with, but his locker clean up interview where he says, while he'd prefer to be in mtl forever, he knows he has to move on, and then he gets to emotional he has to end the interview early :/

i can't even be upset. making it to the ecf at this stage of our rebuild, having this much belief in themselves. so proud of them for building on last season, and so excited for the future

i know the series is not over, even if it feels like it is. either way, i'm at peace with it. i had no faith in us making it out of the first round, so to be here after all the other success of our season and this rebuild... i'm just proud of the identity they've developed
