His grades. In school (secondary education) Vlad was a mediocre student, on the first photo his grades, the columns are years. Ukranian students are graded on a 10-step scale. But in the college (vocational education) he became A-student (second photo), who passed all exams in time. Russian students are graded on a 5-step scale. The grades are not really important in Russia, your final examination that what is important if you want to go to university (higher education degree).

He was born in Ukraine and died in Russia, because we annexed Crimea, you know.

Alcohol. It’s all true. Vlad said to Polina that he got two alcohol poisonings before 14yo. He also told about it in details his college classmate Rostislav.
