Wife and I had a discussion about the final act of Hermine's Canto in 2024 and it's been something I frequently think about since... I don't knowwww these two make me crazy. Tried sitting here and writing something but I can't put it into words. I don't knowwww. But John is not listening to Hermine's command just like she didn't listen to the commands of her captain...

John was born sometime in late May/early June of 2023 while I was skipping class. That drawing is unfortunately lost to time but her design was initially far different... Desaturated, sickly looking, with a turtleneck, scarf, and long coat. I can't recall why I changed it so drastically, but I'm glad I did LOL. She also initially went by solely her last name but I felt it would cause issues/people would make annoying comments on it... Her color was also originally Disgraced Lavender! Also you'd think in these 3 years I'd sit down and learn how to draw braids but no. I have not. I need to get on that...

I really enjoy thinking about John and speaking about her + creating things related to her... Most of my art since 2024 is likely of her, I have a charm of her, I've cosplayed her, she's the OC I talked about the most on my old blog and was the OC I primarily spoke of when I was in an OC server for a few months back in 2024. I'd like to speak of her more/in more meaningful ways but I'm a bit of a recluse nowadays LOL.

I sort of feel like I'll never be satisfied with any art I do of her, but I hope that just pushes me to continue to grow and evolve as an artist. I also need to get over myself a bit and start writing things regarding her like I've been meaning to do for literal years at this point... So many scenes in my head (or texts with my wife lol) just sitting there...
