I am writing a fanfiction for Naoki Urasawa's Monster. The plot is something that you'd be able to follow even if you hadn't watched/read Monster.

Title: The Wrong Universe

Summary: Michael is a (fairly) normal student, until one day he meets a mysterious stranger called Johan. Michael slowly feels an obsession develop, but doesn't have the social skills to even talk to him. He doesn't realise what world he is wandering into until he finds out who Johan Liebert really is. Can he get over his obsession and save himself?

We were so close, and it was by choice - he willingly got that close to me. Sure, it was probably just because the onions were going to burn if he didn't get what he needed fast enough, but the fact that being near me is worth keeping onions from burning is something, at least.

Finally the chapter where Johan pumps and dumps cryptocurrency is up!!!!!

Here are some bits that I enjoyed writing for this chapter.

“So, on this website, people buy and sell cryptocurrency. It's a bit like trading stocks. Do you know what a stock market is?” I shake my head. “I only know about the stocks for soup. Like vegetable stock.”

This is literally Michael rn

“Basically, the prices of different cryptocurrencies fluctuate over time. You can see this here.” He points to the confusing graphs. “And if you buy it when it's at a low price, and then sell when it's high, you can make some money.” I nod. I still don't know what a cryptocurrency is, but I don't ask. I'm more concerned about the fact that, at some point during his explanation, the sagging of the couch made us slide closer together. Even through the two layers of fabric, I can feel the warmth of his thigh on mine.

Yes that is right.... somehow the pumping and dumping of cryptocurrency turned horny.....
