And what happens when you physically can’t be channeling that rage and that hate, and so you have to sit with it and think about what you want and the vulnerability that comes with that. It forced [Cinta] to find hope, and the hope is that she will be with Vel one day. That’s actually what she’s fighting for."

In season 2, Vel is quite suspicious of Luthen, or tired of being used by him. Cinta’s coming to that realization, too."

"A lot of our discussions were about attachment theory. Cinta’s a very avoidant person. She’s been through a lot of hurt and a lot of trauma, and it’s probably very difficult for her to attach to someone, especially if she loves them. But what she feels she can attach to is the cause, and that ends up not being enough for her."
