obi wan in the kaminoan torment nexus learning about the clone army that will kill them all & coming out of that movie thinking 'wow it sure is good that we have an army that will totally never turn on us now!' vs padme in her brief sojourn on rich people love island slash wedding venue shopping learning more about anakin and who he is and coming out of the movie thinking 'wow it sure is good he will always prioritise love over all else and will totally never turn on me now!' and anakin and the clone army going: 'wow sure is good that we've been made for carrying out violence and obeying orders. good thing the people over us will never ever ever ask (make) us betray our ideals!'

structurally speaking I actually really like how aotc is organised. this started out as a very jokey response to those obi wan vs anidala plotline memes you sometimes see floating around & then quickly became me going: oh yeah actually this is pretty cool innit. I do genuinely love how well individual characters and broader institutions/themes are woven together within aotc and rots, obi wan is increasingly The Jedi, padme is everything the republic should be, and they both die with what they represent. anakin and the clone army are increasingly tools of palpatine. hell cody and anakin have that sort of parallel in the trust placed in them by obi wan & their betrayal of it. all this said and I still don't particularly like the film haha, but I will defend it

a thing about me is i basically never notice a wig or other kind of hairpiece in tv/movies. it has to be party city territory for me to even twig it. people will complain about characters' wigs looking bad and i will nod along but there is like a 90% chance i did not notice for a second while watching. i consider this mostly a blessing.
