This bug boy has so many Emotions. He goes from being the happiest ever to actively having a panic attack, it’s perfect.

brandon's charlie is so dear to me he has so much empathy in his heart despite it never being awarded to him and i think that really highlights one of my favorite more subtle aspects to his character. i do not have montlie goggles i am not looking through montlie goggles but one moment that always makes me cry is their little exchange during glitzy where monty is still running ahead with his deep, intense need to be recognized and understood and thought well of and we see a charlie who is content and happy and himself. and it makes me cry because they're having this disagreement that you can tell that they've had a million times at this point, but there's still so much empathy and love in charlie's "we've made a change and that's enough" line. after every shitty thing monty did trying to fill this void inside of himself, charlie still really genuinely wants him to recognize that he's already DONE the thing he's looking for and be able to be satisfied and happy with that. and like that really is their parallel to useful to me. its just so much empathy that monty doesn't necessarily deserve. but of course charlie is going to give it to him. how could he not? but yeah i love that that's something that literally shines from brandon especially
