washing dishes is evil because you go "oh fuck there's so many dishes this is gonna take foreverrr" and then you enter the dish abyss and emerge with your abdomen somehow covered in water and your hands all wrinky and then you look at the clock and what felt like half an hour was actually 10 minutes

I don't know who needs to hear this but... start living. The days are flying by and all you do is work, pay bills, and stress. Enjoy what you can like walks, sunsets, music, laughter. Joy doesn't have to be expensive. You deserve it.

I think this was actually, like, really important for me to read — I’ve never thought about that kind of “it’s a hero’s journey and I’m the hero” type of storytelling, including the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves, in that way before. Thank you 🙏
