Everett smiled slightly, glad he was opening up. he listened to the story carefully, picking up on the way he told it. Ev had done a lot of research on the isle and had been there once on the field trip but he knew he didn’t know the extent of life on the isle. he could do all the research he wanted but he would never know the pain they all felt. he was surprised by the gentleness of the story. "that's a n-nice story." he said with a small smile. "i r-remember meeting you w-when you were l-little with the spells." he recalled.

Everett stayed still looking into William's eyes, trying to remind him that he could trust him. "not c-cocky just a l-little but more c-confident." he said in a simple tone. "i know it's n-not pleasant to t-talk about but d-don't you think it's s-something i ought to k-know. being your b-boyfriend and all." he told him in a calm tone of voice. "tell m-me whatever you'd l-like." Everett said, wanting him to be as comfortable as possible.

he gave William a smug smile when he made a kissy face. he felt William's finger go limp over his lips and he knew he had made a mistake. "my i-initial statement was j-just a joke. I didn't m-mean you w-were a broken person. besides I l-like you just the way you a-are. I just feel..." he thought for a while before deciding if he wanted to say this or not. "like I d-don't know much a-about what y-you went through and y-your time o-on the isle."

Everett made a phone with his fingers. "okay it's r-ringing." he teased before making an annoyed face as he was pushed. "you s-stop it." he play argued. everett thought about how to say what he meant. "it's j-just you've been t-through a lot. i m-mean i dont really k-know the extent of i-it but i know you m-must be pretty b-broken."

"yeah h-he's a good g-guy." he said with a small smile. "so w-what's been going on w-with you??" he asked, not wanting to bring up what he heard in the newspaper. he knew how sometimes the newspaper liked to embellish.

"oh s-shut up. you're such a p-pain." he said with a gentle laugh. he snickered against his finger, leaning towards him more. "i don't d-doubt your resilience, i j-just believe in m-my hotness." Everett told him with a laugh. "you're p-pretty fragile if you a-ask me."

Everett sighed really loudly in his face. "you're h-high maintenance for i-isle trash." he said, with a kidding smile. "always r-right." he hummed, smiling happily at his serious face. "you're v-very cute w-when you're cockblocking m-me but you'll break s-soon cause i'm a lot c-cuter." he teased with a smirk.

“fine I’ll q-quote you saying s-something mean to your p-poor, loving boyfriend.” he teased him, smiling at William’s smile. Ev rolled his eyes as the finger was put in between them. “okay, y-you’re right. does that m-make you happy? cockblocking m-me for that?” he said with a serious face but ultimately joking.
