It is okay to cut people with bigoted political beliefs out of your life. It is also okay if you’re not financially able, healthwise able, etc, to fully cut those people out of your life.

It’s overall okay for you to not like a person based on their political views. For you to not want to deal with them. Your own opinions, concerns, mental stability, health, and ideals matter.

Anyone who fails to address their ignorance, bigotry, dehumanisation of certain groups -even if on the surface they seem nice - are fundamentally not good people for believing what they believe. You’re not wrong for thinking that, nor are you alone for not taking them at their surface like others do.
