One day we got tired, tired of chasing, of caring, of worrying… Not because we didn’t want more, but because the person didn’t value our efforts.

Just because I don’t talk about it, doesn’t mean I forget.

I believe everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they are right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Maybe sometimes, we are the ones breaking our own hearts. We walk into a situation, get attached to someone all by choice. And then we let them break our hearts, because we’re the ones who gave them the opportunity to.

being addicted to something is bad but being addicted to someone is worse. you see the something you are addicted to will never leave you but the someone who you are addicted to can very easily decide to leave you. how sad it is to be addicted to something that can very well disappear without your control.

I wish people could just say how they feel like ‘Hey I really don’t like when you do that to me’ or ‘Hey I’m in love with you’ or ‘Hi I really miss you and I think about you all the time’ without sounding desperate. Why can’t everyone be painfully honest and just save people the trouble.

One day, you’re 17 and you’re planning for someday. And then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life.

I want to believe there is a somebody out there just for me. I want to believe that I exist to be there for that somebody.

You only really fall apart in front of the people you know can piece you back together.
