Remember the Evangelion Crawfish? I somehow missed that there are now Evangelion Beetles. Has Eva merchandising gone too far, or does it hit just right?

GKIDS is bringing Evangelion 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time to theaters this December 6th, 8th, and 11th. No details about home video release just yet, just that it will follow the theatrical engagement.

Motomu Kiyokawa, voice of Evangelion's Kozo Fuyutsuki, deputy commander of Nerv, passed away this past Wednesday (08/17) at the age of 87. Good night, sensei, rest well.

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 was released to Amazon Prime Video one year ago today. Assuming Amazon had a year-long exclusivity deal, perhaps we'll start to hear details about @gkidsfilms' physical release, as well as the fate of the other three Rebuild films.

The End of Evangelion was release to Japanese theaters 25 years ago today (July 19th, 1997). It set in motion a chain reaction of "WTF DID I JUST WATCH" that still persists to this day. Congratulations, Evangelion!

GKIDS has acquired the home video, theatrical, and digital rights to Evangelion 3.0+1.01. No word on the prior Rebuild films at this time.

Tsuburaya Productions has announced an official release date of May 13th, 2022 for Hideaki Anno's next production, Shin Ultraman, the next in his series of live action tokusatsu films.
