Sure thing. As far as culture, Italian culture is distinct, but very compatible with American culture. You will be able to wear what you like. Italy, like most of western Europe, has open attitudes towards style. Many people speak English and/or Spanish in addition to Italian, so getting around will not be too difficult (especially in large cities). The best way to travel in Italy and to see things is by train. The train network is extensive and you can get almost anywhere by train or bus. These are also cheaper options than flying. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the regards. I'll be heading to Andalucia (southern Spain) this weekend and then meeting my parents in Austria the next. Then chilling in Madrid til I come home.

Found that little bugger on the beach. It kept abandoning its master to chill with us. Cute little guy, but I'd take my rottweilers anyday.
