things I did like 

⁃ Tyson and Percy awwww their relationship was so cute

⁃ love the telepathy link between Percy and Grover, I like how they did that. 

⁃ I actually like that they aged up thalia 

⁃ the parallels between Percy and thalia chefs kiss

⁃ revealing the prophecy earlier on. I know some people didn't like this, but personally I think it worked. I remember when I reread the books a while back, I was shocked at how late the mention the prophecy.

⁃ Annabeth is more in character this season than last season. I think they did a good job and showing not only how smart she is but the emotional conflict she feels with not wanting to accept that Luke is a lost cause. I definitely think they did a good job at showing how good she is a quick thinking and needing to find a solution to every problem

⁃ I have a lot to stay about Clarisse, good and bad. she’s one of my favorite characters from the books so she means a lot to me. I like her this season but I do feel like she’s a very different character. I don’t know how I feel about them making her more emotional. but I love them showing how strong, smart, resilient, and tough she is, and motivated to accomplish her goals. 

⁃ I love Clarisse and Grover’s dynamic they’re so funny.

⁃ the chariot racing scene was good

⁃ I liked how they changed Clarisse's crew to just be any undead soldiers and not just confederate cause that was a weird move in the books. 

⁃ I just liked seeing more of Clarisse. getting to see her side of the quest and how she dealt with managing a crew that didn’t trust her while also wanting to impress her father. I think that’s a huge part of Clarisse's character is her wanting the attention and approval from her father but never getting it in the way she wants. 

⁃ seeing more of Luke’s crew. the Princess Andromeda was amazing, though could have used more monsters, but exactly how I pictured it. Alison is such a bitch and I didn’t think I was going to like her inclusion in the story but I think it gives an interesting perspective as to why people join Luke’s force. we are getting more than just Luke's perspectives on things and I think that's pretty neat.

⁃ more action scenes overall. I feel like that was something that season one lacked a lot, or they dulled down the fights so I like that they didn’t do that this season.

things I didn’t like 

⁃ british Thalia... I'm sorry...

⁃ them mentioning that the fleece could bring thalia back. it took away from the reveal at the end.

⁃ Luke teleporting???

⁃ no party ponies!!!

⁃ no mention of Tyson being a baby technically. This actually doesn't really bother me that much and I know they talked about it on the podcast, but it's just something I thought they would mention.

⁃ the random talks between Annabeth and Luke. I know why they did it but personally I didn't love them idk

⁃ Circe’s island not falling???

⁃ Hylla being played by a filipino actress when the character is puerto rican.... come on guys

⁃ Luke showing up to Polyphemus’s island 

⁃ Percy being too open about his feelings to Annabeth too early 

⁃ I do like the ending battle but I feel like it was too early in the series. but I also understand they wanting to amp up the action and drama which I appreciate 

⁃ it didn’t take Thalias tree that quickly to heal her but whatever 

⁃ I also think that Thalia's costume looks too put together for a homeless punk teen 

⁃ changing Thalias death??? I don't know why they would change it to have Zeus kill her I think that was unnecessary

⁃ I don’t like that they took away Annabeth's discomfort around Tyson and her having to relearn her ways. she didn’t like cyclops’s because Thalia was killed my one and I think that was a big part of her character growth in the book. 

⁃ I didn’t like the change in the siren scene. I think it doesn’t make sense that Percy didn’t need any protection against the sirens because “Annabeth saved him.” again, I don’t think Percy at this point would be saying/admitting things like that to Annabeth. I think they’re pushing percabeth too hard too early when it should be more of a slowburn. it took Percy a while to admit/ realize how he felt about Annabeth because a. he’s a stupid teenage boy and b. he’s got other shit to worry about rn.
