they must have such a well-established routine after settling in. i love to imagine that they build themselves a lovely little house not so far from the mansion to have a private space away from all the kids. erik would cook, charles would bake, they would have a glass of wine at dinner and when they play chess later. erik would give charles massages and bring him a coolpack whenever he has a migraine. charles would soothe erik's mind whenever he has troubles falling asleep or nightmares. they would have a whole wall dedicated to their numerous weddings' photos. and in the evening they would go out for a stroll and erik would make charles' chair move just at the right pace for them to hold hands 🥰 that kind of stuff

Watching X Men dofp with my family and having to refrain from making any cherik related comments is probably the most painful movie watching experience ever. My dad is like “i really like their dynamic” and all i can say is “UHUH YEAH ME TOO I REALLY LIKE THEM” as if those men weren’t giving each other “the look” on that damn plane
