Soobin could be good with words. As a leader, he could always give a satisfying answer to any kind of question. He always had the words to describe the meaning of everything asked of him.
But when it came to Beomgyu, those words felt insufficient. Insufficient because Beomgyu wasn't just a friend, nor a lover, he was something more. A soulmate, perhaps. The love of his life, probably. But all those definitions... all of them felt insufficient.
Loving Beomgyu was as easy as a leaf falling from a dry tree when autumn arrived. Loving Beomgyu should be easy to describe and put into words.

Homelander is a good person. He wanted love. Anyone with his childhood would be sad.
If I hadn't seen this take on twitter and looking through the homelander tag then I'd say you were trolling. Having a bad past does not excuse someone for being a horrible person. Listen, Homelander is a complex character, and he's a super good villain. I love how how they've translated a superman type of character into something different.
He does want to be loved by everyone to the point of being unstable. None of that negates his actions done through the show and the cruelty he shows to people who love him the most. At the end of the show, he's supposed to be portrayed as pathetic because at his core he's a pathetic person. His powers just kinda protect him from showing that side of himself.
I don't think Homelander is capable of change by the end of the series. While I love crack ships, I can't get behind taelander due to Homelander's instability. None of his relationships seem to work out in the show. Plus he frequently turns on those he loves. All Taehyun has to do is mess up once for him to be nothing. Honestly, I don't think Taehyun is the type of person who would put up with homelander's bullshit anyways.

beomgyu didn’t want to attend classes like this. he didn’t even look like himself. how was he supposed to function in these conditions?!
he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “calm yourself choi beomgyu. everything will be okay. i’m sure whatever caused this will be resolved by tomorrow. for now, you have a reputation to uphold.”

I am writing a truly old man yaoi soogyu fic that follows the lives of soogyu living their best life in a retirement home. They've been in love their entire life, but Soobin fucked it all up in the 80's. Now they are at a point in their lives where they can finally be together, but Beomgyu thinks it's too late for them. It's going to have flashbacks from their posts, so I'm doing research by reading Boomers experiences in clubs in the 70's and they were wild.
