i have too much on this blog to bring myself to get rid of it fully. but i can’t not play persephone. so i’ve made it easier for myself, and am bringing my persephone muse over to my multi-muse page. life is crazy, y’all, lets make it a little easier on ourselves. love all you lovelies-- but for probably a permanant status you can find me here

“Oh, don’t worry.. I definitely know what I’m doing. But– I’m sorry, would you like some?”

khan’s armies had destroyed yet another village, though this one was much smaller in size than the past several they had passed through. in it, mot of the citizens had been killed already, rather then given roles in the company like previous times. persephone had rushed in front of a little boy, watching a soldier getting ready to kill yet another innocent. it had been an ordeal, back and forth between her and the soldier ( fighting his orders with the knowledge of persephone’s minor rank due to who she belonged to ) and had been dead quiet once khan himself arrived on scene. for several moments persephone held her breath, wondering which argument he had sided with. the realization that she had been holding her breath came suddenly once he allowed the little boy to live.  “ thank you. ” came quietly from the maiden, still unbelieving that he had actually given in.

“ not about my body? ” she was still angry with him for the events of last month. the memories were so vivid, striking furious fire in her usually gentle heart. her city had burned, her people slaughtered. the female was by no means royal, but her personality could prove otherwise. she has a loyalty to her home and countrymen, that, should an outsider observe, she hoped that quality would be judged as unwavering. those feelings she believed to be amplified with his passing comment. she had no right to let it burn her so, yet justified it by lumping his nonchalant dismissal of her with the rest of her anger. she wasn’t special to him? ( was it so wrong that a part of her so wanted to be? even if she still hated him so? It made no sense, but she didn’t care ) “ if it wasn’t ‘about my body’, then why choose me above the other ladies? if it, didn’t matter. if there weren‘t any qualities you observed that set me apart. ” she was putting words in his mouth now, spitting out her grievances, but she didn’t care. assumptions were arising, and would build until he broke her rant.
