Marc stayed in her spot, leaned back in her seat, empty blood Vails in her pcoket. She had other people but people she knew was busy sooo he was hee last hope on getting home that or she ends up who knows where.

Abe got to his car and drove to the location with a few many different thoughts in his head. “One why him, two why so late, three how is she drunk?!” Abs hd seem to forget how vampires get drunk

Marc flinched slightly by the sudden horn, quickly turning into a bat and getting out of the place once outside she turned back stumbling abit, yeah definitely not safe to fly home... she let out a sigh of reilf and opened the car door quickly getting in. she's had one hell of a night.

Abe waits outside humming along to a random song on the radio. God this better be the right place or he would be so upset that Marc and himself. He jumps at the door opening and sighs.

"Yeah well let's just say as much as I have people that adore me~ I've also made my fair share of people that don't like me so few people I trust. Besides it'd be stupid for you to do something as you're a detective..."

He nods agreeing with Marc’s statement on it being stupid. “Yeah and besides i hate going drinking with people from work so I gotta keep you around” Abe chuckles.

Marc rolled her eyes but couldn't help the faint smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "Oh, so I'm just your designated drinking buddy now? How flattering," she replied with mock offense, crossing her arms.

Abe smirks at him and rolled his eyes. “Aye your easily replaceable if you don’t want free drinks I can always go by myself my dear.” He looked at Marc and kept driving.

leaning back in the seat and crossing her arms, her posture was more relaxed then her usual up right straight stance, "Replaceable? Me?~~"

He cackled at Marc and rolled his eyes. “Oh your right your irreplaceable, but a big pain in everyone’s ass” Abe smirks at him

"I try my best," she replied, a teasing glint in her eyes. "Wouldn't want things to get too boring around here, now would we??~"

“Mmm, somedays I would disagree with you doll face, I like boring times.”

"Relax.. I'm not talking about him anymore I think I'd rather die again then speak of him..."

“Agreed.” He cut it short and sweet.

Marc got even more embarrassed, "What did I just say!?" She covered her face entirely, "It's NOT THAT FUNNY!"

“It’s hilarious I’m sorry my dearest…come on you got hit with a stick that’s funny to imagine my friend” he whips tears from his eyes

"Okay! Let me hit you with a stick and we'll see if you laugh, Mr Sherlock!-" her threat was empty no more then a joke. anyone could tell when she was genuinely threatening someone.

“It’s funny don’t get your wings in a twist you batty brat” he teased. Abe knew he wasn’t being actually threatened and smirks softly.

"Again we'll see when it happens to you Besides,” she added with a smirk, “it’s not every day you get to hear me admit to a mistake. Consider yourself lucky.”

A bat flew past Benjamin's window like nothing and then afew minutes after a knock on the door could be heard. - @eternalactor

*Benjamin smiles and steps aside giving Marc room to come in*

"Thank you kind sir." Marc picked at him abit but Let out a sigh of relief she's had afew rough days and needed a break.

*Benjamin closes the door behind them before turning to her still smiling and leading her to the living room, it was a small but cozy area*

"I'll take an coffee.. if anything I always keep a spare blood Vial." She ran a hand through her hair as she sat down.

*Benjamin smiles and nods*

"Yep, some things don't change." Marc snickered.

*Loki purrs loudly moving into the pets. Benjamin smiles*

*Benjamin nods as works in the kitchen*

I know…… you were in a bad place mentally. I just-… I just wish you knew back then that there were still people around you who cared about you.

"I was... consumed by my own darkness It was easier to push everyone away.." Her voice was strained abit voice is keeping her emotions in check.

*Benjamin nods, deep in thought before breaking out of it when Marc apologized for almost biting him*

"I don't usually hunt people it's to much work and messy... but I was out and needed some source. Yeah that branch hurt benny and caught me of guard." She snickered abit.

*Benjamin was a bit surprised by the nickname, but smiled brightly at it*

Marc didn't even catch herself with the nickname it just slipped. "It hurt for abit but eh I've felt worse."

*Benjamin chuckles*

She blinked abit in surprise attempting to maintain her normal demeanor, "I mean! I can grab afew copy's of my films next time, what type of movies you like?" There's a small, genuine smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.

*Benjamin smiles, suppressing a chuckle for now as he watches Loki purr and nuzzle into Marc’s hand*

Marc glances down at Loki, she gently scratches behind the cat’s ears.

Marc’s heart skips a beat a lil as she notices the genuine brightness in Benjamin’s smile. She’s always been good at keeping her emotions in check, but right now, it's taking more effort than usual.
