It's Friday! May your weekend overflow with peace and gladness in the name of Jesus Christ.
"For the ruthless is brought to nothing, and the scoffer ceases, and all those who are alert to do evil are cut off."
— Isaiah 29:20
But hear this with hope:
· Every heart that once ran toward harm is invited to turn and find a new path.
· Those who oppress others are not cast away, but called to encounter mercy that disarms cruelty and awakens compassion.
· Their scorn can give way to understanding; their reproach can soften into repentance.
· The LORD of Hosts stands ready to replace accusation with conviction, and conviction with forgiveness, for anyone willing to receive it.
· Those who eagerly watched for faults in others will instead discover grace that covers, heals, and restores.
· Even the swiftest feet headed toward evil can be stopped not by force, but by the overwhelming welcome of a Father who waits with open arms.
Let this weekend be a time when walls fall, wrongs are forgiven, and old accounts are settled in love.
May we extend to others the same undeserved kindness we have received.
Amen.
Peace be with you and with all whom you meet.
