One of the appeals to Hetalia to me is...how many stories you can tell through it, if that makes sense? Like, you can explore history and culture through stories and characters, and each and svery character can be so complex and there are so many ways to characterise them, y'know? I think that's awesome. And also I love making OCs and aeeing what OCs other people make.

I feel like most of the fandom is attached the Hetalia not directly bc of Hima's official work, but all the potential it has and the fanon work. We can more easily alter them how we like based on our own knowledge of a country's history and culture, and people won't hound on you as much for making them ooc lol
