Very cautiously, Notos unfolds themselves from their box. Vyse leads the gang through the forest, eventually arriving at a ramshackle village composed of ruined V-Corp buildings, treehouses, and- so THAT’S what happened to Gear Station after the Vengeance of the All-Devourer. Standing there to greet them is a very familiar face, in a very familiar white-and-red uniform. Even with gray hair grown out and a brand-new dress, that smile and those eyes are all too recognizable. Virus pauses, not out of shock, but out of fear
I'm back. I brought the passengers
"Thank you, Vyse. And thank all of you for your cooperation. To business, then: Why are you here?"
"Im just here to shoot people!"
Okay first off, what are you doing here?! I thought you ended up back in Unova after the incursion?!
I found them trying to sneak into the Factory, Emily. I was worried it would mess up the plan
quietly under her breath, Virus says: congrats. Emily's gaze slides across all of them, sharp as a rail spike and examining each one. They stop on Viper, then Justin…
"You must have me mistaken for someone else. I do not know any of you."
... then Virus. And her eyes twitch. There's something there, some recognition, some emotion- and then she looks away, and it's gone, and her face shows nothing but a flat smile.

Emily steps back, keeping an equal distance between herself and Viper, and two of her four arms folded neatly behind her back start to tense.
"You must have me mistaken for someone else,"
she repeats, with an emphasis on "someone else." She's looking Viper right in the eyes, but there's no sign she knows who she is, except for just the slightest softening at the edges of her face.
"Answer my question, please. You were going to the Factory. Why?"

That's right! Our friends were captured by V-Corp and we're here to rescue them!
a small rabbit-like girl hops to Emily, apparently having seen the whole conversation

Emily looks down at the girl, blinking for maybe the first time during this interaction.
"A little quieter, Runa. It is rude to talk about someone who's listening."
Her eyes unfocus for a moment, like she isn't quite sure where she got that from- but there's no time to drift, and she snaps back to attention without ever really looking like she lost it.
"Regardless, you may be correct. It would be nice for Cherish to have a role model."
We probably should bring them inside to the planning meeting. Our goals are close enough that working together would be a good idea

Vyse leads them to the office of Gear Station, where a number of people are seated around a primitive war table

As soon as Virus speaks, Emily squints at her - moving only her eyes, not her head or neck at all - and her jaw tenses. It only lasts for a second, though.
"Yes, that is Silver. Also present, we have Gilder, Aika, Enrique, and Fina. You already know Vyse."
She gestures to each of them as she introduces them, then turns back to the newcomers.

Incredible! Well in that case, I have one last bit of info: Fairly close to the Factory but outside V-Corp's territory is a plot of jungle I bought, expressly for the purpose of granting you a safehouse once you escape. Sail along the main river until you find a research camp manned by small robots

Emily then patiently waits for the phone call to be over, stepping aside to let everyone into the room properly before answering Runa in a similar whisper.
"To somewhere safer, yes. Where there is more room. Outside of V-Corp's territory... would be a verrrry good place to be."

So to do that, we'll need to get in. Now, Runa here found a way in that the Corp hasn't guarded at all
It was all Cherish, really. I just followed her
Anyway, once we're in, there's a few key mechanisms we'll destroy. Take those out and new smog will stop being added to the sky. From there, I can use the Delphinus's engines and my own wind magic to clear the skies enough for Valua's fleet to descend with a bombardment and rescue flotilla
"The only question becomes how long it takes V-Corp to get this place back up and running. Ideally never, but that sort of thing doesn't always work out."
We're going for as much damage as we can
The ships we have around the Factory currently aren't our only force. We have a much bigger one waiting for our signal
