ROCKY BALL!! One side of it is pretty screen-accurate, the rest just is shaped to physically work as a polyhedron. It's mostly triangles and a few skewed rectangles.
There are additional tabs on sides 4, 11 and 22 that you can glue over the corresponding triangles. I reccomend that you leave one of the triangles off, preferably either the 6./2 or the 23/26 one, but most probably Fate will Take a triangle from you in the process and you can simply let this Fated Triangle be. This is both Rocky's inferface-triangle, and a very convenient access for you to help glue the whole thing together.
I made another prototype (using a different template) that was made with shrinky-dink paper (unshrunk), however, I found type 1 plastic from reused food packaging worked better, because it is less likely to snap off when folding it.
I tried double-sided transparent tape, PVC glue and E6000 jewelry & bead glue; the E6000 was the most efficient by a lot, though it leaves the most texture on the seams (the seams are pretty textured, though, so i dont worry about that). At the end, I used an oil-based metallic pen to go over the edges.
