i’m reading this huge book about the 1930s purges and it has the absolute worst picture of stalin on its massive cover like no matter where i sit or how the book is angled his eyes are always on me and to make it worse he has this incredibly suggestive look in his eyes. every time i accidentally make eye contact with him i feel as though he’s sat beside me on the next bar stool and has just slid me a drink and is waiting for me to notice and catch his eyes and i know that if i accept the drink i accept everything else this temptress has in mind. i do not like it at all
