tor: so we've been suspended since the beginning of the year since what happened to cinta at our last party. so after we got caught on halloween we're officially on the greek row chopping block

Tiny was glad to be away from the party, and more importantly, the cops that had raided the place. He knew the Zetas were under investigation, but they lived there everyday. Surely this wasn’t something they needed to do? He still had a million questions, but for now, he was just glad to get out of there with Esme, though he knows that she has a lot of concerns and questions of her own about her friends. “That shit was nuts..” He commented, looking over at the girl next to him as they walked. “You alright? Those were your girls I know…”

esme was still in a state of shock after what had just happened but she was thankful that tiny managed to get her out of there before things with the cops got worse. she avoided eye contact with him for a bit until she could find the words to speak. “this was my first night as a zeta,” she began. “and by the looks of it, it might just be my last.” she let out a heavy sigh. “tori’s been my roommate so her and i were already pretty friendly but i just met the other girls a few days ago,” she continued to explain, hopefully lessening any confusion the boy may have. as they walked by side a little bit more, esme slowed down and stopped in her tracks for a moment. “since the house is probably under investigation for the night or whatever, do you think i’d be able to stay with you tonight?”

tor: so i have a student conduct hearing on friday

tor: and unless we can come up with a way to smooth things over with administration we can kiss our chapter goodbye

“okay, touchy” she regards her in an affronted tone, turning back around to face the makeshift vanity. needless to say, roomate bonding has been scarce since they moved in. partially because she’s hardly ever around, spending sometimes days at a time with the zetas, or moving things between this place and her old one. but it wasn’t like esme was making any special effort either. she gets creative, ties her hair with a rubber band and begins to run the straightener over a curly section. “so do you have plans tonight?” it’s the weekend, afterall.

esme brought the can to her lips and took a large gulp as she watched tori go back to doing her previous activity. it wasn’t like esme hated her new roommate or anything of that sort, she honestly didn’t know tori enough to form a proper opinion of her. however, the little time that they have spent together was enough for esme to realize that everything tori says should be taken with a grain of salt. after hearing the other girl shoot a question her way, esme pressed her eyebrows together, a bit confused. there’s no way that tori would be somewhat suggesting that the two of them hang out. this had to just be another segment of small talk with santamaria. “um, not as of now,” she replied, slightly shrugging her shoulders. “i’m not much of a planner when it comes to those kinds of things. i’m more spontaneous.”

That they do for sure. Well, at least now they realize they shouldn’t do that with you.

hopefully. maybe if i just continue acting like a bitch, they’ll leave me alone for good.
