Hi everyone! 

I just recently started my Youtube channel. Today I posted an affordable eye tutorial with Carli’s palette. Hope you enjoy! 

I have really been anticipating the arrival of these liquid eyeshadows because they look like lip glosses. It has a wand applicator and don’t have a distinct smell. Look for my first impressions if you want to know what I think. 

EYES: I primed my lids and afterward used my Too Faced Sweet Peach palette and grabbed Peaches N’Cream and Georgia for my transition shade. Next I took the ELF shadow and put it on my lid. On my outer v I chose Talk Derby To Me I know it has shimmer specks in it and you’re ‘supposed’ to put a matte shadow usually in that area but I wanted to use it since its one color I haven’t touched at all in this palette. On my lower lash line I put Georgia and Talk Derby to Me I opted not to put any liner on my lower lash line because I wanted this to be a mellow day time look. For eyeliner, I used Sephora’s waterproof Felt tip liner. For mascara I used Tarte Tarteist mascara. I heard Tarte came out with lashes and lash glue! I’m hoping to try those sometime! Brow routine per usual. 

FACE: Instead of using my Diorskin foundation I used Makeup Forever Mat Velvet + but everything else in my foundation routine is the same. I’ve been loving just bronzing my face because I didn’t want to do the contouring. I used Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer one of my favorite bronzers. I’m thinking of purchasing the Kevyn Aucoin Neo Bronzer because I’ve heard good things but you never know util you personally try a product! For blush I used my Benefit Cheekathon palette and used Dandelion. For highlight I used my trusty Champagne Pop by Becca and Jaclyn Hill. I used my new ELF Cosmetics Highlighting brush and I love this brush. It’ll probably be part of my August favorites. For lips, I used Morphe’s lip polish in Undressed. 

I bought five things off Colourpop’s site because they were having a flash sale. I bought three of their SuperShock shadows, one Ultra Satin lip, and one of their gel liners. I have bought from them multiple times before. So thought I would share some swatches and what I think about them. 

Shadows: The shades are labeled and I decided to step out for some natural sunlight for this one. Colourpop shadows are beautiful I have popped them out of their cute little container to put in a Z palette so that it doesn’t take too much room. I’m not blessed with having a beauty room so I have to conserve space as much as possible. I usually apply these shadows to my lid with a flat brush and Fix +. 

Lips: I bought the shade Alyssa because that’s my niece’s name. I would give it to her but she’s a little too young for makeup. This is a beautiful pink shade! I also have a lot of Colourpop both satin and matte lips. I also have some of their lippie stix. In terms of staying power, It does have a lot but my god does it transfer. I still love them though because they’re inexpensive and right on the mark. 

Creme Gel liner pencil: I bought Swerve for my makeup kit. I have one for myself along with their nude eye pencil. I really like Swerve because I feel like it stays on forever and half of the time I don’t set it with eyeshadow. 

I feel like my usual looks contain browns so much so this look is a little different for me including the pretty non-neutral lip. 

EYES: I used Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beauty Killer palette for today. For the transition color I chose the light nude color Courtney and China White together. For my crease I chose Vanity because I wanted it to be a little darker but not the usual colors I choose. For my lid I wanted to try the ELF Aqua Liquid Shadow in Cool Steel. Brow routine is the usual. For mascara I used L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara. For lashes I used Wet N Wild In the Mood for Mod lashes. These styles of lashes are different from what I’m used to wearing. The lashes did come with glue but I didn’t like it. For my bottom lash line I used Vanity and left my lashes mascara-less. 

FACE: For my foundation I used MAC Mineralize foundation in the shade NC42. I’ve had this foundation for a long time and I like using it sometimes. If i use it too many days in a row my skin breaks out for some reason. Everything in my face routine is the same. For bronzer/contour I used Benefit Cosmetics Hoola. Are there any bronzers you like, I feel like trying out some new ones? I didn’t use blush but I did highlight a little with Anastasia Beverly Hills Crushed Pearl. For lips, I used Catnip also by ABH and in the center dabbed a little of Papaye by Jouer Cosmetics which is a metallic gold liquid lipstick.
