Step 1: For this I’m assuming you already know how to create gifs, if you don’t please check out this tutorial first. Once you have created your gif and sharpened it, you should have something like this:

NOTE: this psd works better for scenes where there isn’t too much movement, so please keep that in mind :)

Step 2: Now you need to add a Curves layer. Just play around with the eyedropper until you are satisfied with the result. This is mine:

Step 3: Next thing you want to do is to add Selective Color, the settings depend on your gif and the colors you want to enhance. In this case I was looking for vibrant greens and a bit less of reds so I chose these settings (X) (X) (X):

Step 4: I also wanted to add a new Selective Color layer to enhance the greens a bit more. This isn’t a necessary step, as I said before it entirely depends on your gif, the colors it has and what you want to pop up. Here’s my gif now:

Step 5: Now it comes the pivotal moment when you’ll finally start to add the Halloween-ish colors (aka oranges and blacks). For this you need to add Gradient, then you select the shade of orange of your preference. My choice was this one. Then set the Gradient layer to Hue.

Step 6: Now your gif looks like this and of course it isn’t the result we’re looking for bc Laurie’s face looks too orange and it just doesn't look natural at all. What should you do next? Just add a Layer Mask and then select the eraser tool to erase the parts of the gif you don’t want to look orange like in this example Laurie’s face and blouse (here is a tutorial that teaches how to use that tool in case you need it). This should be your result:

Finally, you don’t actually need to do this but I thought my gif would look better with a new Selective Color layer (especially bc I really wanted vibrant oranges and blacks) and that’s how I got this:
