I'm glad that people are picking up on what Pearl's deal was this time round. I was a little worried I'd have to do a third flashback chapter making it even more explicit but the literal first comment on this one was "Oh she's an oyster because she was a commercial surrogate!" so my faith in reading comprehension was restored.

And then someone basically figured out Yucko and Heap's deal from like, nothing? Wtf?

I was gonna write a whole post about how transfem Ragatha is a funny headcanon but you can't make it work bc she's too kind and she would clock and help Jax but then I realised that in fact no because Ragatha would be exactly the kind of person to unquestioningly believe in the Prime Directive. Like I know this is literally a plotline I gave to Ribbit in Wake Up but Ragatha fits it even better.

This but also make it so Ragatha gets another insecurity about asking out Pomni because she’s not a “real woman” or whatever. Ooh, also add Jax coming out to her because she’s the only one to find out Ragatha is trans (something something Jax forces it out of Ribbit so that we can enable FrillyPad) and Ragatha denying it or smtn but eventually coming around and helping Jax pick a name and sew clothes for her.

If only *someone* was writing that :3

Believe it or not I've been working on this comic for months now but only had the time and patience to finish it now.

It's just a little funny interaction I had in mind.. tho I'm sure Ragatha had a hard time keeping up her smile when her friend abstracted.
