I love love, like so much and the fact that I every year of my adult life have not felt loved in a romantic sense ever hurts me.

au where the divine dogs are just megumi’s pets and you don’t understand why they seem to not like you. every time you get too close to megumi, it’s like they get between you, one of them sniffing around him and the other trying to pull you away. it doesn’t bother you too much, writing it off as them trying to protect their owner, but a few weeks later, megumi reveals, bashfully and with very pink cheeks that it’s not that the dogs don’t like you, they’re just worried about what you do to him.
