I think one of the reasons I like Ace so much is that they went ‘tomboy’ without making her hate anything even vaguely feminine. Like, yeah, she’s way more interested in blowing things up or hitting them with a baseball bat than she is in any of the ‘girly’ stuff. But she also occasionally does cute things with her hair or wears cool earrings or other stuff like that. Basically, they let her pick and choose the ‘feminine’ things she liked instead of either all of them or none of them. And that makes her super cool to me.
