I am really happy to finally share this latest commission work created for a wonderful private client. Thank you again so much for the trust and patience throughout this project. At first, I honestly had doubts about whether I could fully fulfill this challenge, and I am incredibly glad I decided to take it on. I learned and studied a lot while working on this piece, especially to push my storytelling skills and improve my understanding of detail hierarchy. This was the first time I painted so many figures in a single composition, and I really wanted to honor my clientβs vision and the story they described through these characters. I am very happy I pushed through it in the end. I also love depicting powerful and determined women through my art, it is always a treat. I spent around 120 hours gathering references, sketching, and painting this illustration. Projects of this scale always make me realize how much I still have to learn, especially when it comes to readability, silhouette management, contrast, and detail hierarchy in crowd and multi character scenes. They also motivate me even more to continue studying the techniques and paintings of the masters I admire most.
