Σ’ αυτή τη γη, που έμαθα να μιλώ, ο λόγος δηλώνει τη λογική, τη λέξη, την αιτία, την υπόσχεση, την αναλογία. Διαλεκτική συμμετρία, ισοτιμία επιδιωκόμενη, καταναγκαστική ή ανέφικτη. Λέξη προς λέξη μια υπόσχεση και πού είν’ η αίσθηση; Λόγος προς αίσθηση. Εσύ προς εμένα. Λόγος μεγαλύτερος του ενός. Λέξη προς λέξη μια αιτία λογική καθισμένη πάνω σε μια γραμμή. Σηκώνει το βάρος του κόσμου όλου πάνω σε δυο ώμους μικρούς του παρονομαστή του χωριστή των επιμέρους.
