I mean, of course it was a hard no the first time he considered it when some creep their dad's age approached them outside their motel room and asked what Sam would do for two hundred bucks. Dean had almost broken that bastard's nose.

But a few nights later when Dean was helping Sam undress for his shower (it was just a weird habit they'd never really stopped doing despite Sam being old enough to not need help showering) he saw the way Sam's ribs were starting to protrude under his delicate skin and he knew he couldn't keep starving his baby brother like this. He didn't know when his dad was coming back, and they had nothing but some stale bread left between them.

So Dean left Sam to shower and went to rummage through the few personal belongings he kept in his duffel. He pulled out what he was looking for, a set of lacy pink lingerie he'd stolen from the girl he lost his virginity to, kept as a damn trophy.

"Put these on. We're going out after your shower." Dean said firmly to Sam as he tossed the panties and bra onto the bathroom floor, closing the door again to block out the sound of Sam whining that he didn't want to leave the motel again because he just wanted to stay in and watch TV.

It was midnight before Dean had those sweet hundred bills in his hand. Three hundred in total, cause of course he'd been able to coerce that drunk bastard into paying more for his Sammy.

When you spend years on a show building up to this one moment throughout seasons, such as finally taking down homelander, the execution of that is what will hold the most weight. The way that it happens and the process to how it takes place is what plays a major part in its quality

It doesn’t matter that there were some scenes we liked in the finale, sure some things were nice to see and then some not so much. But either way, that final episode will fall short because you messed up the one thing we waited years to see.

Idc what you say, say it’s satisfying if you want, sure. Satisfying end to this season? Season five? Uhhh yeah I guess
