Erin Caliri

Erin hung up the phone with a flick of her thumb before sliding it into her back pocket and grabbing an army green jacket from the back of her desk chair. She slid it over her shoulders, flipped her hair out from underneath the fabric, and gave herself a quick once over in the mirror before she headed downstairs.

Her father was away working, but her mother sat in a stool at the counter with a glass of wine in hand reading a section of the newspaper that had been dropped off earlier that morning. The blond glided up behind her, gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, and then headed on past her with a mumbled comment explaining where she was headed--a comment that her mother likely only caught part of, no doubt. Alas, Erin could not be bothered to stick around long enough to explain in detail.

She'd been cooped up a bit too long for her liking, even if it had been a relatively short time. She preferred the adventure of outside, but she also craved company which caused her a bit of trouble lately.

The teen shook the thought from her mind as she grabbed a bit of floo powder. She stepped up to the fireplace, watching as it grew to accomodate her size, and stepped in. She tossed the powder town, said the desired addressed, and waited as the world around her was engulfed in a swirl of green flames.

When the swirl disappeared she found herself standing just inside Liz's fireplace. She'd been to the apartment a few times before, but it always impressed her how cozy her friend had managed to make the flat upon first glance. It was a relatively small apartment, but suitable enough for one person or a young couple.

Erin brushed off her jacket and made sure there was not soot left on her boots when she stepped out onto the wooden floor. The boards creeked a bit under the added weight; a quality most old floors had. Off to the right she could see Liz still seated upon her balcony, no doubt where she'd been when she'd called, and Erin wasted no time joining her out there.
